After coming home after our family's fourth trip back and forth on Route 66, this time, we decided to start a blog in support of future growth of the Mother Road and the preservation of Main Street, U.S.A.
We stopped at the Petrified Forest on our first trip in 2005, when we drove to the Gulf Coast right after Katrina to meet with family.

Hi Warren,fantastic blog you have here.I just wanted to let you know this is the kind of travel blog I find to be useful.Why else travel than to soak up history which you will not find much of unless you are willing to get off the all mighty Interstate.
ReplyDeleteOn the many back roads I have traveled I always loved rolling gently through the small towns and soaking in the Americana.
The people always have a friendly smile and the restaurants are always ready to entertain with characters that take you back to yesteryear.
